When we decided to enclose part of our deck and make it an all-season room/office a year ago, we asked a good friend of ours in the construction business if they could recommend someone for the job. Eric Schenk was the name we were given with high praises for his professionalism, eye for detail, and customer satisfaction. We were not disappointed! When Eric came out to meet with us he asked lots of questions, some of which we had not considered - questions that made us think more seriously about exactly what was to be the function of this addition. We changed our minds about several things which actually made more sense as to how this room was going to be used and to get the most usable space possible. His eye for detail was so appreciated. It was like he was building this room for himself! In the end we had a beautiful new office and his quote was right on the money. Throughout the process he kept us informed of any possible changes that might affect the original cost and gave us options so we might stay on budget. We would most definitely recommend Eric to anyone for any new addition or refurbishing project or building a new home. Eric truly wants his clients to be happy with the end result and it shows in his work.

Five years ago we met Eric, while he was building our neighbor’s Kenilworth home. Months later we contacted him about extending our kitchen a few feet. We discussed a variety of ideas and he emphasized practical and economical approaches, yet aesthetic to the eye. And he created a beautiful, convenient working space.
Last year, he reroofed our home after removing two layers of old shingles, and recently he plastered and painted the 400 sq. ft. living room ceiling here. What an improvement!
Since Eric is experienced in all kinds of renovation, one winter while we were out of town, our neighbor phoned us about storm damage and we called Eric. He sent us pictures of the damage and repaired it.
